POLICOAT | An adhesive product designed to be placed on a printing plate and used in indirect varnishing applications, when one of the printing units is used for varnishing.

It is semitransparent polymer and can be carved by hand or plotter for more complicated shapes . By hand it can be placed on the Al Plate or on any print so that the shape is copied- carved and easily removed before or after placing the Policoat on the Al Plate. Thereafter the Policoat picks up the varnish – delivers it to the blanket and the blanket does the varnish. It is good for both UV and Water based Varnishes.
